  * 'palmar triangle' and sparing reasons - not served by PCBMN or PCMBN deep to retinaculum

===Tinel's sign===
  * Mark carpal tunnel area
  * Used middle / IF-MF / tendon tapper to tap over the area
  * elicit paresthesiae / electric current
  * sometimes it is proximal to carpal tunnel 
 
===Durkan's test===
  * Most sensitive (according to McRae)

===Phalen's test===
  * 2 ways to do it
  * do it first before reverse Phalen'sensitive
  * a timed test may be helpful

===Reverse Phalen's test===

  * constricted
