I recently (last 2 weeks or so), became quite interested in the social media space. I have had various accounts like Twitter (2009), Facebook (?), and Instagram for quite a few years now, but haven't really been active on it.

At the Kaoshiung meeting, I had a discussion with Professor Baek, the current APFSSH president and JHSAP Editor-in-chief, about reaching out to the current and potential journal readership with social media. He was enthusiastic and asked me to go ahead.

Here are some of my thoughts since starting out:

Facebook

1. username issues
2. event - limitations include the page as automatically the host of the event. Not sure if this can be changed.
